About Us

Hi, I’m Erica- teacher, mom and the creator behind The Messy Makery.After 13 years in the classroom, I’ve learned that the best learning happens when kids are curious, hands-on and not afraid to get messy.That’s exactly why I created The Messy Makery- a place where paint can drip, glitter can drift, and creativity can develop- and where the process is more important than perfection. And as a mom of two young kids, I know it’s not always easy to make space for kids to create like this- that’s why this is a place where you can simply show up, take a breath, and watch your child light up.

Born and raised in Atascadero, I feel so grateful to create something special for the families in this community.
